Belated, but welcome

The unprecedented and mushroomed rise in the COVID-19 cases create a distress among the migrants for their livelihoods and going back to their residence is tremendously seen, But due to this migrants workers tried to go back their home, by paying fare, but they have not enough money as their source of earnings restrict, so migrants workers faces a lots of problems. But now the intervention of apex court to enforce the rights of vulnerables is an applauding move.
The government's relief policies has not reached to all the workers, this discomfort created between the government and the migrants is due to the lack.of proper communication. We all are responsible for this but media plays a vital role because the media has a responsibility of delivering information facilitated by the govt. There has been inadequacies and poor coordination on the part of the center and state in dealing with the crisis faced by workers,  one such example of this is that the cancellation of train on the last moment as they were not fully prepared with the quarantine facilities, it create a lots of anxiety and discomfort among the migrant, as they already pay fare. These are the areas probably for which the intervention of apex court is seen.
Welcome steps-
1. As we have seen a three judge bench of the Supreme Court has initiated to look into the problems.
2. SC may lay down guidelines for planning, coordination and establishment to make the situation better.
It is rightly said "Better late than never".

SOCIAL MEDIA

"Connectivity is a human right"... With a gigantic user base and a ubiquitous existence, the social media has become an inseparable part of the fabric of the Indian society. It has transformed the way we communicate in the online world. Ultra-fast internet connectivity, cheap data plans and universal access to smartphones for our youth have impacted Indian society in a unique way. As we know everything has its pros and cons, social media also have. Like a double-edged sword, social media is a boon for the democracy and business, on the other hand fake news, privacy concerns and online frauds tell a different tale. "Whoever controls the media, controls the mind..." Social media have empowered the users to voice their concerns against injustice and inequality as evident from the " Anna movement " to the campaigns like " Meetoo " and rights for "LGBT" and same-sex marriages. On the other hand, fake news has induced violent activities aga...

"A stich in time saves nine"

The farmers' associations from the nearby states abutting the border of the capital city,Delhi, have hunkered down near the Delhi border in a hope of getting their fears and uncertainties satiated and alleviated related to the new farm bill passed hastily by the centre. The farm law that existed prior to the centre's amending it had many loopholes that were going against the progress and development of the agriculture sector. The intention of the centre might be healthy but the way it has  dealt with it ,  made it face opposition from the farmers across the country due to the centre's lacking in addressing the misconceptions related to it that had lead to developing a sense of fear and precarity in the minds of the farmers that are undoubtedly the backbone of our Indian economy which at this juncture is battered due to ongoing Covid - 19 pandemic. To be breathe in new life to the agricultural sector and ultimately making the farmers self supportive who throughout these year...

Profit not Profiteering

In the beginning of this pandemic, there were limited cases of patients, so the government institutions are enough to testing and those tested positive were sent to the government hospitals. But in the present timr the number of cases increasing day by day, the demand of hospitals is on hike that's why it is important to include private hospitals as well. For testing in private hospitals government already set a limit of rs.4500 but do not set a limit for the treatment and isolation facility to the covid-19 patients. That's why private hospitals charges arbitrarily i.e. Rs. 7lakh for 14 days quarantine facility, if intensive care unit (ICU) care is warranted thrn the rates would be much higher and can be change according to their preferences that is a huge amount and can not affordable by everyone. So the states decided to interference in it and set a cap on the tariff that is charged by the hospitals. Maharashtra was the first to fix a tariff, followed by Gujarat, and Tamilnad...
