2020 cyclone

2020  is proving to be one of the worst years of 90s.., according to the current situation. The year started with the forest fires in Australia, followed by the global pandemic Covid-19, Vizag gas tragedy,  deceased migrant labourers, earthquake, train accidents and now the cyclone amphan  taking the lives of 72 people till now. The cyclone has hit the eastern coastal plains i.e. West Bengal, Odisha and some pther parts of Bangladesh. As the scientists have predicted that it will be second most devastating cyclone after 1999, government had started to plan a week earlier. Loke evacuation from homes, supply of food, madicines, and many kore things, but despite these a lot of damagrs can be seen in Bangladesh.
So by seeing that their is a loophole in the planning, state government have to work in accordance with the central government and should handle the impact of storm.
Following measures can be adopted by the government-
1.  As life of millions have been affected, government should restore their lives and livelihoods by giving ex-gratia to build their houses.
2. As cyclone occur quite regularly mainly in coastal plains, some crucial steps must be taken to prevent this type of impact permanently like building, hospitals and strong permanent houses.
3. Government should provide food materials for few months.
4. Electric poles must be given a strong support so that it can't easily fall.
5. All the shops and hotels near Digha beach of east Mindapore must be supported morally and economically.

But now the intervention of apex court to enforce the rights of vulnerables is an applauding move. The government's relief policies has not reached to all the workers, this discomfort created between the government and the migrants is due to the lack.of proper communication. We all are responsible for this but media plays a vital role because the media has a responsibility of delivering information facilitated by the govt. There has been inadequacies and poor coordination on the part of the center and state in dealing with the crisis faced by workers,  one such example of this is that the cancellation of train on t...

It has transformed the way we communicate in the online world. Ultra-fast internet connectivity, cheap data plans and universal access to smartphones for our youth have impacted Indian society in a unique way. As we know everything has its pros and cons, social media also have.
