SEZ

A special economic zone popularly known as Sez, is a geographically area in which the business and trade laws are different from the rest of the country. In these areas government give some privileges compare to non sez area.
Sez are established to promote export, create job opportunities, attract investment as well as to attract foreign companies.
Sez are born to the nation and its people, because of it country's firm become more competitive and efficient to increase export by making availability of goods and services free of tax and duties. The concept of SEZ is beyond the industrial concentration as a mix of industrial and human settlements. Conceptually SEZs are parallel to free trade zone. The incentives, benefit of trade and commerce offered by them within the regions are similar. The foreign trade policy clearly states that SEZs are growth engine that can boost a country's growth. India's low cost and efficient labour attract foreign investors, but they have only a fear of movement of goods as country's poor network of roads, clogged parts. To overcome the country's infrastructure problems which work as a roadblock, so that SEZ policy can give more strength to private sectors to attract foreign Direct investment. SEZ model can lead to higher growth in India too, but country's need to remove the bottleneck in the path of development.

In a democratic country where equality is on its peak priority, a social evil that originated a long time back is still in practice. Female foeticide is the procedure of abortion to terminate female fetus from the womb of the mother after taking sex recognition tests( ultrasound). More than 2,00,000 girls are killed each year especially in U.P. and Bihar as compared to other cities.
