Education - A Weapon

“ Education is the key to unlocking the world, passport to freedom”                                                     Oprah Winfrey What separates humans from animals is the ability of humans to write, read, learn and teach . This centuries-old accrued knowledge is called “ education ”, which makes humans the smartest creatures on the planet earth.  The basic measurement for education is called the rate of ‘literacy’. The global adult literacy rate is 86%. 75%of the world’s illiterate population lives in South Asia,West Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Women account for two -  third so fall the illiterate adults of the world. The literacy rate of India is 77.7%(2017-18). "Opportunities in crisis"

While adressing the nation amidst the covid 19 pandemic, our Prime minister announce a package of 20 lakh crore to make India self reliant i.e in production, consumption and exports.
As we know necessity is the mother of invention and as our prime minister said that this challenge should be converted into opportunities, "local for vocal" . It is the time for India to use this package not only for the upliftment of himself but also for the nation .
It is pefect time for modernization amd globalization of the Indian industries and setting the startups in the other countries .
According to the then government
1960s, 70s, was not the correct time for modernization and globalization, As India had a huge burden to overcome poverty which is first priority for the nation, the majority of people didn't had money in hands to buy expensive products and also the government had to save its domestic products from the stiff global competition.
In 1991 then, finance minister Manmohan singh remove trade barriers and gave permission to international companies to setup market in India
We didn't have any other option and foreigners had a choice to earn money and they accomplished it, and took advantage.
# Governmen should invest in human resource and development. As,we know the Japan has no natural resources still it is the most advanced nation because it invest more in human resourse and development it has the capabilities of Public sector unions .
Education is important part of human resources and development.
"Healthy mind resides in healthy body,so healthcare should not be left."

SOCIAL MEDIA

"Connectivity is a human right"... With a gigantic user base and a ubiquitous existence, the social media has become an inseparable part of the fabric of the Indian society. It has transformed the way we communicate in the online world. Ultra-fast internet connectivity, cheap data plans and universal access to smartphones for our youth have impacted Indian society in a unique way. As we know everything has its pros and cons, social media also have. Like a double-edged sword, social media is a boon for the democracy and business, on the other hand fake news, privacy concerns and online frauds tell a different tale. "Whoever controls the media, controls the mind..." Social media have empowered the users to voice their concerns against injustice and inequality as evident from the " Anna movement " to the campaigns like " Meetoo " and rights for "LGBT" and same-sex marriages. On the other hand, fake news has induced violent activities aga...

Female foeticide

"There is no chance of the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved. It is not possible for a bird to fly on one wing." In a democratic country where equality is on its peak priority, a social evil that originated a long time back is still in practice. Female foeticide is the procedure of abortion to terminate female fetus from the womb of the mother after taking sex recognition tests( ultrasound). More than 2,00,000 girls are killed each year especially in U.P. and Bihar as compared to other cities. Several religious, social, financial and emotional factors are the reasons behind the female foeticide. Most of the parents prefer son to girl because they think they have to pay a big amount as dowry at the time of marriage and also believe that tha son will carry the name of their family in future while girls will get married a day and will have a separate family. Illiteracy, insecurity, poverty and increasing ratio of rape are also the major reason for gi...

Monetary Policy

The RBI has clearly sought to talk up confidence ignoring the risk of inflation. R BI's latest monetary policy is focused more on economy revival rather than increased inflation rate. This is an optimistic approach towards improving the economic conditions of the country. Since the pandemic hit the country, there has been a continuous downfall of economy due to long and strict lockdown that stopped all the work pausing financial activities across the country. Now that situation is returning towards normalcy it is needed to foster the economy by providing more employment and job opportunities to the people and resume the stagnant growth of the economy. More employment will improve the financial activities and mitigate the impact of lockdown that caused a great loss to GDP of the country. The risk of inflation is also needed to be focused but it can be stay put for a while because reviving economy is more beneficial than cutting prices of commodities. If there will more jobs and em...
