Education - A Weapon

“ Education is the key to unlocking the world, passport to freedom”                                                     Oprah Winfrey What separates humans from animals is the ability of humans to write, read, learn and teach . This centuries-old accrued knowledge is called “ education ”, which makes humans the smartest creatures on the planet earth.  The basic measurement for education is called the rate of ‘literacy’. The global adult literacy rate is 86%. 75%of the world’s illiterate population lives in South Asia,West Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Women account for two -  third so fall the illiterate adults of the world. The literacy rate of India is 77.7%(2017-18). G7

The group of seven (G7) is an international intergovernmental economic organization consisting of the seven major countries i.e. France, Germany,  Canada, Italy, Japan, the United kingdom and the United States. These are the largest IMF advanced economies of the world, established in 1975, created with the purpose an annual gathering of the powerful leaders to discuss about various topics like trade related, security and also exchange their ideas. Few days ago, Us president Donald Trump put a idea in front of the media and said that the president G7 is outdated and recommended the expansion of adding 4 other countries- India, South Korea, Australia, Russia, turn it into G11, with the all powerful leaders of the powerful nations against China. But for Russia it is difficult as Russia was already a member of the G7 but in 2014 its membership suspended. In G7 they will use their veto powers. This will tilt RUSSIA towards China and can create disturbance in the relation of India and Russia, as India have a friendly nature with almost every nation. So for India it is a good opportunity. India should be clear in its aim. India should focus on  economy, trade and business, security and dispute with China. As a new cold war is on the brink to occur between the Us and China, and India will play a very significant role.

Monetary Policy

The RBI has clearly sought to talk up confidence ignoring the risk of inflation. R BI's latest monetary policy is focused more on economy revival rather than increased inflation rate. This is an optimistic approach towards improving the economic conditions of the country. Since the pandemic hit the country, there has been a continuous downfall of economy due to long and strict lockdown that stopped all the work pausing financial activities across the country. Now that situation is returning towards normalcy it is needed to foster the economy by providing more employment and job opportunities to the people and resume the stagnant growth of the economy.
