  • Many businesses have been pushed into bankruptcy and unemployment state is at all time high.
  • Though, the government has announced huge stimulus packages to revive the economy and taken many measures to support the poor. Yet People are struggling to meet both ends.

Two of the most affected sectors are the hospitality and the aviation sector as people are wary of leisure travelling. Most of the people employed in these sectors are jobless at present and migrating to other sectors, seeking employment.

Education Sector

Education sector is also affected as schools/colleges and coaching centres remain shut down. The government has limited recruitment in government jobs and this trend is worrying for the competitive exam aspirants.

Monetary Policy

The RBI has clearly sought to talk up confidence ignoring the risk of inflation. R BI's latest monetary policy is focused more on economy revival rather than increased inflation rate.
