COVID 19 IMPACTS


 The Novel Corona Virus named Covid19 said to be originated in Wuhan Province of China, has turned our lives upside down. It has impacted every aspect of human life, killing 26,171,112 across the world and 4,027,718 in India till now, bringing the worst recession of past 150 years. 


Key Points---

1.This virus is highly contagious and spreads via human-to-human contact. 

2.To contain the spread of the virus, the government across the world have resorted to imposing lock-downs facing people to stay in-doors and shutting down economic activities.


3. However the infections are increasing and hospitals are full with patients and a lot of deaths are occurring that could be avoided. 

IMPACt On ECONOMIC 



  • The covid19 lockdowns have halted the economic activities around the world, threatening to bring a worldwide recession.
  • Many businesses have been pushed into bankruptcy and unemployment state is at all time high.
  • Though, the government has announced huge stimulus packages to revive the economy and taken many measures to support the poor. Yet People are struggling to meet both ends. 

Hospitality &Aviation Sector---



Two of the most affected sectors are the hospitality and the aviation sector as people are wary of leisure travelling. Most of the people employed in these sectors are jobless at present and migrating to other sectors, seeking employment.

Education Sector 



Education sector is also affected as schools/colleges and coaching centres remain shut down. The government has limited recruitment in government jobs and this trend is worrying for the competitive exam aspirants.

At last-----

The deforestation has brought animals and humans close to each other and this has not only raised human-animal conflicts, but also many viruses like the novel coronavirus are crossing from animals to human. In a way, this pandemic is a man-made disaster and makes us review the way we engage with nature. The virus has no international boundaries and it is imperative that all the countries in the world work in tandem in a post Covid19 world.

In a democratic country where equality is on its peak priority, a social evil that originated a long time back is still in practice.
