Education - A Weapon

“ Education is the key to unlocking the world, passport to freedom”                                                     Oprah Winfrey What separates humans from animals is the ability of humans to write, read, learn and teach . This centuries-old accrued knowledge is called “ education ”, which makes humans the smartest creatures on the planet earth.  The basic measurement for education is called the rate of ‘literacy’. The global adult literacy rate is 86%. 75%of the world’s illiterate population lives in South Asia,West Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Women account for two -  third so fall the illiterate adults of the world. The literacy rate of India is 77.7%(2017-18). In  the modern world, the meaning of ‘education’ is structured knowledge of our society in various disciplines – history, mathematics, polity, economics, various...

A Story Of An Elephant

As we all know the highest literacy rate is in Kerala, but what do you think is education means only to get a degree just a pen, paper or a respected life.. Education is not about pen, papers, exams, getting degree and getting a good job. It teach what is right or wrong, ethical values of life, develop an affection towards society, show some sympathy towards the animals. A barbaric news came from kerala, killing of the pregnant elephant.  It is not the question on education but also on humanity.
Villagers in kerala gave a pineapple, filled with a bomb to a hungry elephant which burst in her mouth and burnt severely. For getting relief she went to a pond but did not get any relief and she died after struggling of three days. To punish the miscreants can do little as the problem which is much more depend that it seems.
Every year many elephant killed as well.as the other animals by the people. As in India It was the favourite entertainment of the kings, it was said that if that king hunted a tiger means he is more powerful than others.
It is the major concern that why they are coming on roads and market places. The massive increase in population leads to unbridled development in farming sector to feed the population and other places of public needs are being built by clearing the fields.
The question raise what we can do this, can we do something or not🤔🤔, yes we can do-
1.Proper laws and norms should be made to protect the animals as they are a part of biodiversity.
2. We should give education to our children about some humanity.
3. More national park and wildlife sanctuaries should be made.
4. No interruption of humans in protected and reserved forests should be there.
5. More officers should be appointed to look after the forests.
Education, literacy, sympathy, empathy

"A stich in time saves nine"

The farmers' associations from the nearby states abutting the border of the capital city,Delhi, have hunkered down near the Delhi border in a hope of getting their fears and uncertainties satiated and alleviated related to the new farm bill passed hastily by the centre. The farm law that existed prior to the centre's amending it had many loopholes that were going against the progress and development of the agriculture sector. The intention of the centre might be healthy but the way it has  dealt with it ,  made it face opposition from the farmers across the country due to the centre's lacking in addressing the misconceptions related to it that had lead to developing a sense of fear and precarity in the minds of the farmers that are undoubtedly the backbone of our Indian economy which at this juncture is battered due to ongoing Covid - 19 pandemic. To be breathe in new life to the agricultural sector and ultimately making the farmers self supportive who throughout these year...

SOCIAL MEDIA

"Connectivity is a human right"... With a gigantic user base and a ubiquitous existence, the social media has become an inseparable part of the fabric of the Indian society. It has transformed the way we communicate in the online world. Ultra-fast internet connectivity, cheap data plans and universal access to smartphones for our youth have impacted Indian society in a unique way. As we know everything has its pros and cons, social media also have. Like a double-edged sword, social media is a boon for the democracy and business, on the other hand fake news, privacy concerns and online frauds tell a different tale. "Whoever controls the media, controls the mind..." Social media have empowered the users to voice their concerns against injustice and inequality as evident from the " Anna movement " to the campaigns like " Meetoo " and rights for "LGBT" and same-sex marriages. On the other hand, fake news has induced violent activities aga...

Female foeticide

"There is no chance of the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved. It is not possible for a bird to fly on one wing." In a democratic country where equality is on its peak priority, a social evil that originated a long time back is still in practice. Female foeticide is the procedure of abortion to terminate female fetus from the womb of the mother after taking sex recognition tests( ultrasound). More than 2,00,000 girls are killed each year especially in U.P. and Bihar as compared to other cities. Several religious, social, financial and emotional factors are the reasons behind the female foeticide. Most of the parents prefer son to girl because they think they have to pay a big amount as dowry at the time of marriage and also believe that tha son will carry the name of their family in future while girls will get married a day and will have a separate family. Illiteracy, insecurity, poverty and increasing ratio of rape are also the major reason for gi...
